Mercedes-Benz Viano, 2009, Mynämäki

Mercedes Viano with a durable 2.1-litre engine.
Currently deregistered from road use, but it can be registered for road use for a genuine buyer who wishes to take it for a test drive.

This came to me as a trade-in, and there is not much history available for the Viano.

• Inspected on 3 July 2026 with no remarks.

• Drives well, the engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The gearbox changes as it should.

• New battery.

• Tow bar, permitted towing capacity 750 kg/2,500 kg.

• The interior requires a thorough clean; otherwise reasonably tidy and the seats are intact. The speaker grille is missing from the passenger door, as shown in the photos.

• Relatively little rust for a Mercedes; a dent in the right rear corner. The problem areas can be seen in the photos.

• Fitted with poor winter tyres; a visit to a tyre shop is needed first.

• The engine warning light came on during a test drive after the inspection; it has not affected use. It has not been investigated or reset, as there is no diagnostic reader.

• The front cabin blower does not work. The rear one does. The air conditioning could not be verified; at least the indicator light comes on when it is switched on.

• The electric window switches on the driver's door are worn and only work in one particular position. They do work, however.

• The bonnet release lever is broken, but it can be opened using the cable.

With a little fixing, a good practical vehicle for carrying a larger group.

No technical condition inspection has been carried out on the Viano, and it is sold in its current condition. All detected faults have been stated in the listing.
