Skoda Superb, 2016, Rovaniemi

Relisted due to a non-paying bidder; hopefully you will not make an offer unless you intend to buy.

Here is an affordable, sensible daily driver for the next owner, and an excellent winter car to boot.

The engine management has been remapped to around 180 hp. Torque and power now come in immediately from low revs and build smoothly; in my own driving, fuel consumption has also been lower than with the standard map. The map can of course be returned to standard if desired.

Finnish-market car, four-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual, so there is no need to worry about DSG automatic gearbox issues.

As you would expect from a Superb, there is plenty of space, while it is still incredibly economical for its size.

The odometer reads 322,000 km, so this is not being sold as a new car. Over the years, the body has accumulated stone chips, dents and scratches, some of which have also been repaired.

This much-driven daily car is starting to show some signs of life, but its overall appearance is perfectly respectable. Take your time looking through the photos; they show the condition best.

The latest service recorded in the electronic service book was carried out in November 2025 at 293,000 km.
The timing belt was replaced at 186,000 km. The replacement interval for these is 210,000 km, so there is no rush for the timing belt service yet.

The oil and filters were changed about 10,000 km ago. This service is not recorded in the electronic service book because the workshop that carried it out did not have access to Škoda's electronic service system.

The shock absorbers, brake discs and pads, and front wheel bearings were replaced at the beginning of summer.

The windscreen was replaced this summer and is also heated; on frosty mornings, it is an option you quickly learn to appreciate.

The car is in daily use. The air conditioning, Webasto, engine, gearbox, clutch and four-wheel drive all work as they should.

For summer, 19-inch alloy wheels with summer tyres, and for winter, the original 16-inch alloy wheels with Nokian studded tyres. The winter tyres are fitted as there has already been frost in the mornings (last photo).
