Defects and other observations

The air conditioning does not work, and it has not been tested whether adding refrigerant helps.

The steering gear is leaking and fluid has to be topped up from time to time.

The windscreen washer pump runs, but no water comes to the windscreen.

The gear selector mechanism is loose. The gears still engage nicely, but getting reverse sometimes requires moving the gear lever via second gear.

The clutch does not slip, but its travel is short.

The tailgate lock sometimes needs some fiddling, but it has always eventually opened from the outside.
