The complete delivery includes a stylish plastic cover that withstands snow load and has lifting handles, a large approx. 35 kW marine aluminium stove, a drain tap and an outlet pipe. The barrel is insulated. The base has 45 cm of Styrox filling, so frost will not be a problem for bathers. The outer cladding is Finnish heat-treated pine (Lunawood). The pool package is 100% Finnish quality workmanship.

A Key Flag product from our own production line

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's Classic Hot Tub is made in Finland down to the smallest particle. We are very proud of the products from our production line, and we have been making this Classic Hot Tub model for years using the same proven method. The hot tub's edge panels arrive at the factory as long material. They are cut to size and assembled into an element, into which the previously glued insulation base from Sastamala-made Jackon and the maintenance-free PE plastic pool moulded by Oulu-based Pipelife are fitted. Our exacting hot tub specialists on the production line drill the outlet hole in the base, the stove holes in the side and fit the hoses in place. Finally, the package is carefully tipped onto its side once more to install the drain pipe.

The Classic Hot Tub is delivered freight-free to its new happy owner, who only needs to have a water hose, firewood and fire-starting equipment ready. However, the owner should make sure the hot tub is installed level, so the water does not settle unevenly in the barrel. Installation instructions are included, but in practice the new owner only needs to attach the stove placed on a level surface to the hot tub with hose clamps, screw the stove drain valve shut and off you go, into the bath.

Improved seating comfort in a rotationally moulded pool - also for taller bathers

The maintenance-free, moulded PE plastic pool comes to us from almost next door, from Pipelife in Oulu. At their factory, the rotationally moulded pool is formed from plastic granules as the result of a precise process. The granules are placed in a mould and the mould rotates in an oven for an hour. After cooling, the pool is ready to be moved to Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's production line.

We have paid special attention to seating comfort in the design of the pool. The sides of the pool are not vertical, as a wedge-shaped insulating air gap has been left between the pool and the edge panel cladding, which better supports the bather's back. The edges of our pools are on average higher than those of other manufacturers, so even taller bathers' shoulders sink below the surface of the steaming hot bath water and their necks do not start to freeze. Seating comfort is top class and your legs will not get tangled in this hot tub, as despite the height the bench is not too low.

Super-efficient marine aluminium stove

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub package are made in Finland. With an output of 35 kW, the stove is not even afraid of seawater, as it works with both fresh and salt water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a scorching hot premium product. Marine aluminium conducts heat excellently, the front plate of the stove is stainless steel and the glass door allows you to check the fire without opening the door. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney guard or a spark guard, check the list of accessories.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine will start to oxidise the marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see the accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it contains no added chemicals and is also safer for children. Water without active oxygen quickly starts to form a slimy surface on the edges of the bath, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Easy maintenance with little effort

In the Classic Hot Tub, your backside will not freeze even when the ground is frozen. The 45 cm insulating Styrox base prevents cold from reaching the bottom of the pool and at the same time keeps the water warmer. The delivery includes a plastic cover that significantly reduces heat loss. A well-heated hot tub can be warmed up again the next morning with one load of wood.

There is warmth also in the heat-treated pine panel from Lunawood, which crowns the appearance of the hot tub as the edge material of the pool. There is nothing you need to do to the pine panel if you do not want to. In that case, the surface will weather into a beautiful grey over the years. If you want to preserve the brown tone, apply wood oil to the surface once a year. The maintenance-free claim also applies to the plastic pool, as there are no cast seams in the plastic pool, so dirt cannot collect in any particular places. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with ordinary cleaning agents. The most exacting users may occasionally clean the pool more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to take care of wastewater properly.
