For sale: Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI, model year 2009. A practical diesel Audi with automatic transmission and about 231,000 km on the clock.

The car was manufactured on 10/07/2008 and is a 2009 model A4 Avant. It has a 2.0-litre CAGA Common Rail TDI, 105 kW / 143 hp engine and an automatic gearbox. The car is front-wheel drive.

Known faults and omissions

The engine warning light is on. The fault memory contains code P2015, which relates to the intake manifold flap position/control system.

For CAGA 2.0 TDI engines, there is an affordable metal P2015 repair kit / limiter bracket for this fault, which limits the intake manifold flap motor travel back to the correct range. The repair part usually costs only a few tens of euros and installation is relatively minor. This is a well-known fix for the CAGA engine.

Note! The car has not been further dismantled or diagnosed regarding this fault, so we do not guarantee that the limiter bracket alone will fix it. P2015 may also require repair of the intake manifold flap mechanism, position sensor, or intake manifold itself. At a workshop, the estimated cost of fitting the repair kit is roughly €100–250, if the fault is resolved by this method.

In addition, one headlight bulb has failed and needs replacing. The rear window wiper does not move.

The car shows normal signs of use, wear and patina for its age and about 231,000 km of driving. No known major body damage.
