Volvo XC70, 2003, Kotka

For sale is a Volvo XC70 AWD, automatic and 7 seats, which is no longer needed. The odometer shows 261,000 km (the instrument cluster displays the reading in miles, i.e. around 163,000 miles), model year 2003.

The car has recently been used so little that it no longer really makes sense to keep it.

There is plenty of space here, and seven seats are a handy feature when you need them. Features include automatic transmission, cruise control and an engine block heater.

The car has recently had various work carried out:

• Coils and spark plugs replaced this year

• Crankshaft position sensor and its bracket replaced

• Timing belt service done 1/2025

• Oil change 6/2026

• Instrument cluster repaired 3/2026

• Battery replaced 1/26

Unfortunately there is no service book, but receipts from the workshop and other papers from the past just under five years are available, so there is documentation of the maintenance and repairs carried out.

The workshop also recommended checking the fuel pressure and confirming the condition of the injectors. This is therefore left for the next owner to investigate in order to bring the car fully up to standard. The car is drivable, but it occasionally runs unevenly and repair is strongly recommended.

No confirmation is available that the four-wheel drive is fully functional.

Inspection valid until 10/2/2027.

Includes two sets of tyres (studded winter tyres included) and both sets have legal tread remaining. The car comes with one key.

Externally it looks fairly tidy for its age: no major dents or scratches, the windscreen is intact and there is no surface rust. The interior is leather and I have tried to take as honest photos of the car as possible.

Of course, it should be remembered that this is a 2003 car, so it is not like a new car and nobody can say what may come up with an older car in the future. This could be a good and spacious car for someone handy with a little work!
