Opel Astra, 2006, Espoo

The car is in generally good condition, the engine runs and it is roadworthy. However, it was rejected in the most recent inspection. All known reasons for the rejection are listed below and are also shown in the pictures.

Known notes / inspection failures:

• OBD system & ABS light: The retaining ring on the left front drive shaft boot broke and damaged the ABS sensor wire. The brake hose/pipe is intact.

• OBD system & emissions: Probably a faulty emissions sensor / oxygen sensor.

• Parking brake (handbrake): Repaired.

• Brake backing plate missing: Rear left. A new brake backing plate has already been purchased, but it has not been installed. It comes with the car.

• Other note (not part of inspection): An unidentified whistling sound comes from the engine air intake system.

Servicing and repairs carried out: The service book from the previous owners is shown in the pictures. Servicing and repairs carried out by the current owner:

• Oil changes carried out every 10,000 km

• Both front springs/shock absorbers replaced

• Front brake discs and all brake pads replaced (approx. 10,000–15,000 km ago)

• Battery replaced 1.5 years ago

Inspection and tyre information:

• Inspection: Failed on 7/8. Driving ban / permitted use ends on 7/10.

• Tyres & keys: Good-condition winter tyres included. Two keys.

Opel Astra 2006 - 292000 km

The car is in general good condition with a working engine and is drivable. However it has failed the most recent inspection. All known inspection failures are listed below and in the pictures.

-OBD system in connection with the ABS light seen in the picture: Front left side CV boot ring broke and it broke the ABS line. Brake line is intact.
-OBD system in connection with exhaust emissions: Likely emission sensor fault
-Parking brake force: Fixed
-Brake backing plate missing: Rear left, I have bought new brake backing plate, but it is not installed. It is sold together with the car.
-Not in inspection, but there is an undefined whistling sound from the engine air intake system.

The service book of the previous owners is found in the pictures. Repairs that I have done:
-Oil changes at every 10000 km
-Replacement of both front shock absorbers/springs

-Replacement of front brake discs and all brake pads (roughly 10,000–15,000 km ago)

-Battery was replaced 1.5 years ago.

Inspection failed on 07/08. The vehicle is banned from use after 07/10.

A set of winter tyres in good condition. Two keys.

Inspection permitted use until 7/10/2026

Traffic de-registration: Standard removal 15/9/2026 -
