A surprisingly solid-feeling King Cab pickup!
The vehicle was test-driven in urban and road speeds. There is no rattling, clanking or knocking from the chassis. It tracks slightly in road ruts. The engine seems to operate in the typical manner. The vehicle stops as it should.


In terms of bodywork, this is by no means among the worst. All vehicles of this age show the beginning of corrosion. The frame appears to be in good condition! Visually, the frame looks surprisingly good, see photos!
The vehicle is inspected until June 2027.

The winter tyres still have tread and studs; I won’t praise the summer tyres too much.
At least the interior is decent!

Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we observed the following:

  • Fun-to-drive rear-wheel-drive pickup! The engine runs nicely, in 5th gear there is a howling noise.

  • The front left corner is about 5 cm lower than the right side. When inspecting the chassis, it seemed that at least too short a drop link has been fitted there compared with the original, which seems to be pulling the car down slightly at the front left corner.

  • Inspected in June! The advisory items have also been fixed: rear bump stops missing
