Vehicle condition

The interior is in tidy condition, with some scratches and normal wear as expected for its age, but nothing major.

The cabin air is fresh; it has not been smoked in and no animals have been transported.

The bodywork is in reasonable condition on the outside. For a car of this age there are naturally some stone chips and scratches.
There are scuff marks on the front bumper, scratches on the rear bumper and one larger knock from a trailer drawbar. There is a small dent above the left rear light. These can be seen in the photos.

The windscreen was replaced last summer and is still like new.

At inspection, there was no rust in the undercarriage in any amount worth noting.

If the subframe were ever to rust to the point of replacement, these are covered under the factory warranty.

It does not leak or consume any fluids - and fuel consumption is very modest.

The winter tyres are good Hankook Winter I*Pike RS2 (16"). The summer tyres (Kumho 17") will also last at least one more season. Both sets are on alloy wheels.

The engine is the reliable and economical OM651.911. This example does not have the oil pressure reduction valve that often causes engine failures in these models.

The timing chain and sprockets were replaced a couple of years ago, so the engine runs smoothly. The gearbox changes gear smoothly and does not slip.

The car was driven about 2,200 km on a holiday trip this summer and performed excellently.
