The operating principle is simple: once the intended felling direction has been chosen and the required felling notch has been made in the tree, the wedge is pushed into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed, causing the threaded rod driven by the cordless drill to push the wedge between the stainless-steel plates forward, opening the saw cut and making the tree fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling direction guide generates the force needed to fell trees easily and exactly in the desired direction without tiring the logger. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. One 4 Ah battery is enough to fell dozens of trees.
