The complete delivery includes a stylish plastic cover that withstands snow load and has a lifting handle, a large approx. 35 kW marine aluminium stove, drain tap and outlet pipe. The tub is insulated. The bottom has a 45 cm Styrox fill, so frost will not trouble bathers here. The outer shell is domestic heat-treated pine (Lunawood). The pool package is 100% Finnish quality workmanship.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's Classic Hot Tub hot tub is made in Finland down to every tiny part. We are very proud of what our production line produces, and we have been making this Classic Hot Tub model for years using the same proven formula. The tub's side panels arrive at the factory as long timber. They are sawn to size and turned into a module, into which the previously glued insulation base from Jackon in Sastamala and the maintenance-free PE plastic tub moulded by Pipelife in Oulu are fitted. Our exacting hot tub specialists on the production line drill the outlet hole in the bottom, the stove holes in the side, and install the hoses. Finally, the package is carefully tipped onto its side once more to install the drain pipe.

The Classic Hot Tub is delivered freight-free to its new happy owner, who only needs to have a water hose, firewood and fire-starting equipment ready. However, the owner should make sure that the hot tub is installed level so the water does not settle unevenly in the tub. Installation instructions are included, but in practice the new owner only needs to attach the stove, placed on a level base, to the hot tub with hose clamps, screw the stove drain valve shut and off you go, into the bath.

Improved seating comfort in a rotationally moulded tub – also for taller bathers

The maintenance-free, moulded PE plastic tub comes to us from almost next door, from Oulu-based Pipelife. In their factory, a rotationally moulded tub is created from plastic granulate as the result of a precise process. The granulate is placed in a mould and the mould rotates in an oven for an hour. After cooling, the tub is ready to be transferred to Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's production line.

We have paid special attention to seating comfort in the tub design. The sides of the tub are not vertical, as there is a wedge-shaped insulating air gap between the tub and the side panelling that supports the bather's back better. Our tubs have higher edges on average than those of other manufacturers, so even taller bathers' shoulders sink below the surface of the steaming hot bath water and their necks do not start to freeze. Seating comfort is top class and your legs will not be cramped in this hot tub, as despite the height the bench is not too low.

Super-efficient marine aluminium stove

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub package are made in Finland. The powerful 35 kW stove is not even afraid of seawater, as it works with both fresh and salt water. Careful material choices make the stove a red-hot top product. Marine aluminium conducts heat extremely well, the front plate of the stove is stainless steel and the glass door allows you to check the fire without opening the door. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney guard or a spark guard, take a look at the accessory list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise the marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see accessory list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering plants, as it does not contain any additional chemicals and is safer for children too. Without oxidation, the water can easily start to form a slimy layer on the edges of the bath, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Easy maintenance with little effort

In the Classic Hot Tub, your backside will not freeze even when the ground is frozen. The 45 cm insulated Styrox base prevents cold from reaching the bottom of the tub and at the same time keeps the water warmer. The delivery includes a plastic cover that significantly reduces heat loss. A well-heated hot tub can be warmed up again the next morning with a single load of firewood.

There is also warmth in the heat-treated pine panel from Lunawood, which crowns the hot tub's appearance as the tub's outer edge material. You do not need to do anything to the pine panel if you do not want to. Then the surface will weather to a beautiful grey over the years. If, however, you want to preserve the brown tone, apply wood oil once a year. The maintenance-free principle also applies to the plastic tub, because as there are no moulded seams in the plastic tub, dirt cannot collect in any particular places. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with normal detergents. The most thorough users can occasionally clean the tub more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to take care of wastewater properly.
