EVO 2 is a renewed version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room-specific ventilation unit. Minimalist matte white design and a new stylish remote control.

The hugely popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been updated, resulting in the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now has an elegant matte white finish that blends even better with the interiors of Finnish homes. The EVO2 ventilation unit can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply discreetly. The unit is still delivered with a plug, which is the primary connection option. In addition, a completely new and even more stylish remote control has been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for about 30-40% of energy consumption; with the Reco 60 EVO2 ventilation unit, you can recover up to 90% of this energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 ventilation unit easily converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation. The unit is designed to provide continuous and controlled ventilation for the space where it is installed, bringing in fresh air and exhausting stale air outdoors. The ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency at best, so in addition to fresh indoor air, you can also reduce heating costs. In summer, the Reco 60 reduces the need for cooling from an air source heat pump, as the exhaust air cools the warm supply air in the heat exchanger.

The Reco 60 is ideally suited, for example, to garages, storage spaces and cottages. It is also possible to improve the ventilation of detached houses using natural ventilation. In larger spaces, several units may be needed to achieve sufficient ventilation. In that case, the operating cycles of the units can be timed so that some blow out and others in at the same time.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-the-wall installation. Its telescopic structure allows installation in wall structures 250 mm - 400 mm thick. For installation, a d=165 mm hole is made in the wall. The unit is easy to connect to electricity using the plug directly from a socket.

The ventilation unit is designed for continuous use, so it should always remain connected to mains power. The unit is controlled from the included remote control or using the buttons on the side of the unit. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating a pleasant indoor climate. The unit can be equipped with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter, which effectively removes allergenic particles from the room air.
