Mechanic's comments: Inspected with an endoscope through the spark plug hole, and no honing marks can be seen in any of the cylinder walls. In addition, the piston in cylinder 2 is also very carbonised and the piston edges are shiny (slightly oily), so the piston rings are probably leaking.
At a quick inspection it appears that the engine is nearing the end of its service life.
The engine does not leak externally at all, so all the oil it consumes goes through the engine during combustion.
