A handy Ka with Fiat's trusted diesel engine - little cars don't get much more fun than this! Technically a sister model to the Fiat 500, with cheap parts, cheap insurance and cheap running costs. Chain-driven engine. Moves along briskly for a car weighing around a tonne, and fuel consumption is modest.


Inspected on 1 Dec 2025, so there is still driving time until the beginning of December 2026. It has been in daily use throughout the summer and still is, so the mileage is still going up daily. But why not, when it runs nicely and happily.


There is some paint damage on the body, and the factory paint job was not exactly of the best quality to begin with. Hardly any rust, but the paint is peeling from the sill sections and the tailgate/door. Works perfectly in everyday use. Electric windows work, the air conditioning needs a refill and may also be leaking; this has not been investigated.


One set of tyres and wheels, with Bridgestone winter tyres fitted, which also do fine for summer driving. And as is often the case in this price range, the second key is somewhere. So only one key is in use.


Rear brakes have just been sorted out, and the handbrake holds normally again. An oil change is starting to be due.


Defects/issues: The aforementioned peeling paint and the air conditioning not working. Electric mirror adjustment does not work, but a handy mammal can set the mirrors to the right position. Dashboard buttons and controls are worn, but still work okay. The rear wiper wipes the car a few times when starting it - perhaps a feature? Opening the boot with the key remote sometimes sticks, possibly an issue with the key button. Door opening/locking works well.
