Belt conveyor, length approx. 116 metres, Kotka

A long belt conveyor is rarely available, but here it is. A suitable base for a fraction of the price of a new one, for example for wood chips, bark, sawdust, feed or other light material. It has been stored unused in the roof of a tarpaulin hall for the past approx. 15 years. The conveyor has been washed and all extra unrelated scrap has been removed. It looks well used, but the frame is sound, at least 95% of the rollers are intact and turn, and all drums/idlers turn by hand, so the bearings are not seized. Siemens 37 kW electric motor, replaced at some point as it looks more recent. Year of manufacture approx. 1995. Original structural drawings and component lists available.

The conveyor has been dismantled at the bolted joints and can be reassembled, and suspension brackets and beams with 3 m spacing are included. On one side of the conveyor there is a full-length service walkway. A travelling discharge trolley on top can discharge to both sides of the conveyor, enabling two long piles/stockpiles over a distance of approx. 100 m.

All parts can be transported on a so-called box trailer, in which case the transport height stays under 4.2 m. Conveyor modules can be loaded onto the box trailer 2 pcs stacked on top of each other, while the drive and folding end + the module with the discharge trolley on top must be transported separately.
