MERCEDES-BENZ E 500 COUPE / 2008 / DESIGNO INTERIOR / CRUISE CONTROL / COLLECTOR'S DREAM / INSPECTION 17 September 2026 (1 ISSUE FOR PASSING)

Here is a rare treat for Mercedes fans: an E 500 Coupe with a 5.5-litre V8 engine for the highest bidder!

The car is in very good condition for its age, both body and interior.

There is rust visible in exactly one spot on the body, on the rear arch on one side where the paint has come off.

An amazing vehicle, come and have a look!

Designo interior, navigation, cruise control, electric seats with memory, panoramic roof.

The car comes with a 10 cm thick stack of receipts, some of which are pictured in the advert.

We took the car for a test drive just for the fun of it, because after all it does have a rather large American V8-sized engine fitted into such a compact body.
A really fun car to drive!
The suspension has already received a lot of maintenance during the previous owner’s time, and there are no rattles.

Firm suspension, crowned with V8 rumble. It really moves!

There are no extra noises from the engine bay.

The fluids stay in, and it does not leak anything.

The brakes work, everything works.

It was with the previous owner for 5 years, who changed to a diesel due to a long commuting route.


To avoid sounding too complimentary, here are a few faults discussed with the previous owner:

>The AIRBAG light is on and points to the front passenger-side airbag.

According to the previous owner:
''A wiring fault under the passenger seat; move the seat and it usually goes out.
Lifting it usually works best...or just wiggle the wire by hand.

It doesn't affect anything, it just doesn't detect if anyone is sitting there.

So if an accident happens, the airbag will deploy even if no one is sitting in the passenger seat.

I was waiting for it to break completely so it would have been easier for me to locate and fix it.

It has been like that the whole time the car has been with me.''

(This is the only issue preventing inspection pass), fix it or wiggle the wire and the light will go out, contact fault.)

CARVERTICAL

The car was registered in Finland on 29 June 2016.

The report shows the note ''The odometer reading of this vehicle may be altered!''

The odometer discrepancy has been interpreted as about 12,000 km.

The previous owner investigated this and we concluded it was an error made by the inspection clerk.

The car was serviced in FINLAND at KK-Autoteam on 13 June 2017, with mileage of 115,469 km, and the receipt is in the pictures.

After that the car was inspected on 25 October 2017 at K1 Katsastajat Oy / Rauma Papinhaka, with the odometer reading recorded as 103,874 km


With a hypothetical odometer manipulation of this scale (about 12,000 km), there would be no financial benefit whatsoever in a car that has done 100,000 km.

Summer tyres with 6 mm tread on 18-inch Gislaved wheels.

Winter tyres with 8 mm tread, studded HANKOOK, in really good condition; the previous owner was upset after buying new studded tyres and changing cars.
