Defects and other observations

On the test drive we noted the following:


  • Engine warning light is on / oil warning light is on. The car is therefore consuming oil

  • Scratches on the front bumper as shown in the photos.

  • Workshop note about the car:


    The boost pressure control has a fault code for being too low, and yesterday when driving it into operation, the boost pressure did not reach the target value at any point. Today the boost pressure reached the target value and worked normally. It was noted that the particulate filter is quite clogged at the moment; no fault code has yet appeared for this, but the oil consumption is probably clogging it. Last time the customer did not add any more oil, and now 1 litre of oil was added again. It is possible that during the oil consumption measurement the particulate filter will clog enough that it cannot be driven the full 1000 km

  • The engine consumes a lot of oil (4 L/1000 km); because of this the particulate filter is clogged

  • It smokes heavily when running (blue smoke)
