Water has leaked into the car’s footwell and apparently also somewhere causing an electrical fault:

  • The tailgate does not lock shut, the lights front and rear flash, warning lights are on in the instrument cluster, and the rear screen washer operates as soon as the battery terminal is connected.

  • The footwell trim has been removed and the car is drying indoors; see pictures.

  • Collection by trailer or similar is recommended.


The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested.
