Perfect Binder DB-280 for sale, a powerful and versatile adhesive binder for producing books, publications, brochures and other perfect-bound products.

The DB-280 has a production capacity of up to 200 books per hour, and it can be used in both automatic and manual mode. In automatic mode, the clamping, release, pressing and binding functions are automated, reducing operator steps and enabling efficient production.

The machine has two glue drums, ensuring good glue capacity. Spine roughening is done with a double pass, which improves glue penetration into the paper and helps create a durable binding.

A separate pressing mechanism presses the cover against the book spine from three sides. This creates a neat, strong and square book spine.

The DB-280 is also suitable for fast block and pad binding without covers. The machine can use Planamelt R hot melt adhesive. This is a hybrid polymer adhesive with handling properties similar to EVA glue and, according to the manufacturer, a binding strength of about 95% of PUR adhesive.
