Imported from the Åland Islands at some point.

Rust in the usual places (see pictures)

Lots of maintenance carried out on the engine and chassis.

Timing belt and water pump just replaced.

At the same time, the rear camshaft chain, tensioner and exhaust cam adjuster were replaced.

An oil catch can has been installed in the engine so the breather system does not blow oil into the boost side and thus into the intake manifold. Intake manifold and exhaust manifold gaskets replaced. Intake flaps removed and blanked off, so it gives an engine fault code for the flap actuator position.

Front lambda sensor replaced.

Rear differential and propshaft centre support bearing just replaced.

Resonator removed from the exhaust (does not affect inspection), flex joint in the downpipe replaced at the same time.

All suspension arms replaced front and rear for inspection. Front driveshaft boots and one joint replaced. Rear driveshafts both new.

Sport leather interior in good condition.

Good winter tyres.

Stiff but also comfortable adjustable coilover kit, registered in the modification inspection.

Bose sound system with Bluetooth adapter as well.

18" RS wheels with poor paint and tyres.

Engine is in top condition and runs like a Swiss watch.

New auxiliary drive belt also included.

There are faults too...

Rear propshaft joint has play when it vibrates (sometimes! Not constantly!) and when pulling away there is a "clonk"

Crack at the top of the windscreen (did not affect the inspection)

Front bumper and wing mounting cracked in the usual place on the driver's side front.

LED headlights fitted and they trigger a warning. Intact original bulbs included.

Front brake caliper slider pins should be freed up.

(On the first brake application it vibrates, on the second it brakes smoothly)

On the passenger side, the black paint on the window chrome trims has started to flake off because I did NOT sand it carefully enough with Scotch-Brite and primed it with the wrong paint.

There are blisters and lacquer issues, as is usual with these red cars.
