Visually it appears to be in fairly tidy condition and to be a capable motor. There are signs of use, but nothing dramatic.

Model year 2000/2001, the serial number is visible in the pictures so you can check the exact age.


The engine was just started and test run. It does not seem to stay running at idle; the fault has not been investigated.

Otherwise it seemed to rev well and the gears appeared to engage normally.

Has been in storage for a few years, but started well now for the test run.


  • The engine does not seem to stay running at idle. The fault or cause has not been investigated.

It did, however, seem to rev well and the gears engaged.

  • Wear and tear from age and use. Small crack on the front of the engine cover (visible in the picture).

  • No fuel tank

  • Engine stand not included
