The tub is made of polyethylene plastic and is completely seamless, very easy to keep clean and easy to use.

The complete delivery includes a stylish plastic cover with lifting handle that withstands snow load, a large approx. 35 kW marine aluminium stove, a drain tap and outlet pipe. The tub is thermally insulated. The base has 45 cm of Styrofoam fill, so frost will not trouble bathers here. The outer cladding is Finnish heat-treated pine (Lunawood). The pool package is 100% Finnish quality craftsmanship.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's Classic Hot Tub bath tub is made in Finland, down to the smallest particle. We are very proud of the products from our production line, and we have been making this Classic Hot Tub model for years using the same proven method. The tub's edge panels arrive at the factory as long stock. They are sawn to length and assembled into an element, inside which are fitted the pre-glued insulated base from Sastamala by Jackon and the maintenance-free PE plastic pool moulded by Pipelife in Oulu. The production line's expert hot tub specialists drill the drain hole in the base, the stove holes in the side and fit the hoses in place. Finally, the package is carefully tipped onto its side once more for installing the drain pipe.

The Classic Hot Tub bath tub is delivered free of freight charges to its new happy owner, who only needs to have a water hose, firewood and fire-starting equipment ready. However, the owner of the new tub must ensure that the hot tub is installed level, so the water does not collect unevenly in the tub. Installation instructions are included, but in practice the new owner only needs to attach the stove placed on a level surface to the hot tub with hose clamps, screw the stove's drain valve closed and off you go, into the bath.

Improved seating comfort in a rotationally moulded tub – also for taller bathers

The maintenance-free, moulded PE plastic tub comes to us almost next door, from Pipelife in Oulu. In their factory, the rotationally moulded tub is formed from plastic granulate as the result of a precise process. The plastic granulate is placed in a mould and the mould rotates in an oven for an hour. After cooling, the tub is ready to be transferred to Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's production line.

We have paid special attention to seating comfort in the design of the tub. The sides of the tub are not vertical, as a wedge-shaped insulating air gap is left between the tub and the edge panelling, which is kinder to the bather's back. The edges of our tubs are on average higher than those of other manufacturers, so the shoulders of taller bathers also sink below the surface of the steaming hot bath water and the neck does not start to get cold. Seating comfort is top class and your legs will not end up in a knot in this hot tub, as despite the height the bench is not too low.

Super-efficient marine aluminium stove

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub package are made in Finland. The high-powered 35 kW stove is not even afraid of seawater, as it works with both fresh and seawater. Carefully considered material details make the stove a red-hot top product. Marine aluminium conducts heat excellently, the front plate of the stove is stainless steel and the glass door allows you to check the fire without opening the door. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney protective grille or a spark guard, check the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it does not contain any additional chemicals and is also safer for children. Without oxygen, the water can easily start to form a slimy surface on the edges of the bath tub, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Easy maintenance with little effort

In the Classic Hot Tub your backside will not freeze even when the ground is frozen. The 45 cm insulated Styrofoam at the bottom prevents cold from reaching the base of the tub and at the same time keeps the water warmer. The delivery includes a plastic cover, which considerably reduces heat loss. A well-heated hot tub can be warmed up again the next morning with one load of firewood.

There is also warmth in the heat-treated pine panelling by Lunawood, which crowns the look of the hot tub as the edge material of the tub. You do not need to do anything to the pine panelling if you do not want to. Over time, the surface will then weather to a beautiful grey. However, if you want to preserve the brown tone, apply wood oil once a year. Maintenance-free also applies to the plastic tub, because as there are no cast seams in the plastic tub, dirt cannot collect in any special places. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with normal cleaning agents. The most meticulous users can occasionally clean the tub more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to take care of wastewater properly.
