Mercedes Viano with a durable 2.1 engine.
Currently deregistered from traffic use, but can be put back into traffic use for a serious buyer who wants to test drive it.

This came to me in a trade-in, and there is not much history information available on the Viano.


  • Inspected on 3.7.26 without remarks.

  • Drives well, engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The gearbox shifts as it should.

  • New battery.

  • Tow hitch, permitted towing mass 750 kg/2500 kg.

  • The interior needs a proper cleaning, otherwise reasonably tidy and the seats are intact. The speaker grille is missing from the passenger door, as seen in the photos.

  • For a Mercedes, relatively little rust; dent in the right rear corner, the problem areas are visible in the photos.

  • The tyres are poor winter tyres, so it needs new tyres first.

  • The engine warning light came on during the test drive after the inspection, but it has not affected use. It has not been investigated or reset, and there is no reader.

  • The front cabin blower does not work. The rear one works. The air conditioning operation has not been verified; at least the indicator light comes on when switched on.

  • The electric window switches on the driver’s door are worn, and only work in a certain position. They do work, however.

  • The bonnet release lever is broken, but it can be opened via the cable.


With a little fixing, a good everyday vehicle for carrying a larger group.

No technical condition inspection has been carried out on the Viano and it is sold in its current condition. All known defects have been stated in the listing.
