Bluebird rescued from museums and rebuilt for sale.

The body modifications have been made from sheet metal, so there are no fibreglass parts on the car.

I'm selling the car because of everyday time constraints so someone else can enjoy it more than I do.

The car has been driven by me in summers and runs as it should. It has just passed inspection, so it can be driven worry-free for a few years.

The car has new tyres and you will also get two additional new tyres without rims. A few spare parts are included, e.g. the front bumper and some fittings, as well as the original parcel shelf.

A few noted defects are listed below. The exact odometer reading is not certain.

The car is fairly low as seen in the pictures, so be careful on speed bumps.

The car was repainted in 2024, when the engine was also checked over.

Modifications and servicing to engine, drivetrain and suspension

• Engine oil, filter and differential oil changed in spring 2026, about 1,000 km ago.

• Safety fuel tank (visible in photos).

• Factory-new carburettor.

• Lightened flywheel.

• Electric fuel pump.

• Electronic (points-less) ignition.

• Fuse boxes replaced with new units.

• Free-flow performance air filter.

• Front disc brakes with brake booster and pressure regulator (visible in photos).

• New front shock absorbers and stiff, short springs.

• Stiffer anti-roll bar bushes and shorter dogbone control arms.

• 60 mm lowering blocks at the rear.

• Stiffer rear leaf springs and new shock absorbers.

• 13-inch (≈330 mm) chrome-steel solid wheels.

Body modifications

• All rust spots repaired by a professional before painting; the front bumper was reshaped from sheet metal and the rear bumper more heavily modified also from sheet metal. Rear arches slightly widened.

• Door seals replaced.

• Spare wheel well removed.

Interior

• Interior almost completely renewed in 2025.

• CTK 3.0 butyl sound-deadening mat installed across the floor.

• Entire floor upholstery re-done.

• Retro bucket seats.

• 2026 Sparco 3-point harnesses.

• Hardwood racing steering wheel.

• Parcel shelf customised to the owner's taste.
