BMW 518d, 2015, Helsinki

An unpretentious and honest original Finnish BMW, used as a company car for motorway driving, not modified by youngsters, and not marked by children or dogs (the factory dog guard is still there)! A rare BMW, then. First owner was ABB Oy, i.e. Asea Brown Boveri. I have had it in my company for about 4 years now and I am the 3rd owner. You do not need to guess this car's history with a worried feeling. I would dare to sell it even to my mother.

If the buyer wants, I can have the car inspected again before handover, but that would change the inspection cycle from the original one.

It is hard not to praise this car. Everything works, it has sensible equipment but nothing unnecessary or prone to break.

-Economical and mildly tuned 2.0-litre engine (same displacement as in the 520), with enough power for Finland's speed limits. This car still has a long life ahead of it.

-Original classy black colour that would reveal every flaw or parking-ding, if there were any, but there are none to be seen. With a light polish, the car could look as good as new.

-Stylish black fabric upholstery, not stained by children or dogs. These seats keep you warm in winter and do not make you sweat in summer.

-No AdBlue!

-Smooth-shifting automatic gearbox

-Air conditioning blowing cold

-Cruise control

-Factory tow bar that folds out or away electrically. I have personally used it twice to tow a rental trailer from Motonet.

-Summer tyres are fairly new Michelins on the original rims.

-Nokian winter tyres are more worn, but still legal, on aftermarket rims. During my ownership the car has been driven very little on winter tyres. I maximise the use of the summer tyres and usually spend 1-2 months in the middle of winter somewhere warm.

-Engine block heater with interior socket.

-"Kokkola 2015 model", first registered in November 2014, but the VIN represents model year 2015.

-The car has been very well maintained. Early service records are stored electronically and I have an Excel sheet from my ownership. During my ownership, 2 factory recall campaigns have been carried out. One related to the engine breather and the other, if I remember correctly, to exhaust gas recirculation, which at one time caused fires, but the factory replaced it free of charge with a redesigned component.

And why am I selling now? Well, in a moment of excitement and car fever I bought a newer petrol hybrid from Huutokaupat.com as a replacement.🤔
