Ekohytte Combust incinerating dry toilet

The Ekohytte Combust incinerating toilet is a modern, environmentally friendly and easy alternative to a conventional flush WC. It is an excellent choice for cottages, holiday homes and other locations without sewer connection or running water.

High capacity and reliable incineration
The Ekohytte Combust incinerating toilet is suitable for daily use by up to 12 people. The unit’s efficient incineration process ensures a reliable burn every time.

Energy-efficient and intelligent
A thermostat-controlled heating element optimises the incineration process for energy efficiency. One burn cycle takes about 90 minutes; the unit automatically adjusts the duration of consecutive burns to save energy. The WC can be used during a burn cycle.

Safe and durable
A sealed combustion chamber and high-quality galvanized steel components make operation safe even during a burn cycle. The unit is IPX4 splash-proof and CE-marked. Its simple design and reliable emptying mechanism ensure long service life.

Easy installation
Ekohytte Combust is recommended to be installed with two 110 mm sewer pipes (inlet and outlet) through the wall. The intake pipe has a manually operated shut-off valve that can be closed when outside temperatures fall. The closed valve prevents cold air entering the room. The Ekohytte Combust incinerating WC is designed to operate without the intake pipe, so closing the valve does not disrupt the unit's function.

A ready-to-install ventilation pipe kit is available as an accessory.

Simple and hygienic to use
Operation is straightforward:

• Connect the unit to mains power and switch the power to ON

• Place a single-use protective bag in position

• After use, press the mechanical pedal – the bag drops into the combustion chamber

• Start the incineration process with the button at the rear of the seat

The ash container is emptied roughly weekly in continuous use.
Hygienic, easy-clean materials keep the unit tidy.

Stylishly designed, the Ekohytte Combust has a soft-close lid and its use is very similar to a normal WC.
