During a roughly 20–30 km test drive we made the following observations:


  • The fuel pump occasionally needs tapping in the boot (so it should be replaced in due course)

  • Third gear is reluctant to engage; all other gears and the overdrive work

  • Otherwise it feels as an old car should; the bonnet rattles slightly and likely needs tightening

  • There will certainly be things to fix, but the car has been inspected and is roadworthy
