Powerful and stylish R-Design V70! With a small amount of work, still a smart car for a long time.

On the test drive the car runs well, there are no rattles or knocks, the brakes work, the gears change smoothly and the ride is steady. Body, interior and windscreen are in good condition, although there is normal wear and stone chips for its age, see the pictures and video! It has good studded tyres for winter and reasonably good summer tyres too.

The car has been well serviced and, in addition, bigger repairs have just been done: 03/2025 full gearbox overhaul and 12/2025 timing chain + VVT wheels etc.

Below is a diagnosis of the known faults:

There is a clear leak from the fuel high-pressure pump seal and the oil filter housing, although according to the receipts the seals for these were replaced less than a year ago. We assume that only the seals are leaking, but this will be confirmed when it is dismantled to ensure there is nothing else wrong. We have not dismantled or investigated this any further!
