Defects and other observations

Measurements have shown that when the fault is present, all units whose data passes through the ABS controller are out of action (connection to the ABS controller is lost).

The first step should be to inspect/repair the ABS controller.

Removal + refit of the ABS pump/controller unit + bleeding the brake system would cost approximately €292.50 + €8.60 (brake fluid).

Repair of the pump/unit package €530, including freight and packing to and from the repairer.

The controller fault/interference apparently causes the electrical issues: starting problems, instrument cluster going silent, etc.


It also reports a fault with the oil pressure sensor. If the fault is actually the sensor, the repair is not expensive.


In addition, the driveshaft apparently makes noise at certain speeds.
