Transportable barrack, Nortamonkatu 42E, Rauma

The City of Rauma is selling a transportable former social welfare barrack building at Nortamonkatu 40E, property ID 403-1-41-2. This is one of Rauma’s ten barracks for sale; six are on Nortamonkatu and four on Harakkalantie.

The barrack has previously been used as supported housing for clients requiring more intensive support. Due to its former use, there may be significant damage and wear to interior surfaces, fixtures and fittings. The lock of this barrack may also be broken. In addition, WC and shower fittings may be missing and some electrical cables have been removed. The condition of the property may have deteriorated since the photographs were taken.

The sale includes the barrack and the movable contents within it. Beam foundations are not included in the sale.

The gross floor area of the barrack is approximately 29 m² and the net floor area 27 m². The barrack is sold as seen at the time of sale. The buyer is responsible for relocating the building and all related costs.

No separate viewing event will be arranged for the barrack, but it may be inspected independently from the outside.
