Thermal treatment greatly improves the wood's resistance to rot and makes it dimensionally stable, so decking boards, fences and slats retain their original, straight shape.

Thermowood is suitable for all climates, requires little maintenance and does not need surface treatment. Thermowood will silver attractively under sunlight unless treated with a UV-protective pigmented oil or similar. Only heat and steam are used in its production, so it is completely non-toxic
