Defects and other observations

  • Under hard acceleration second gear jerks/kicks; no problem in normal driving. In service it was diagnosed that the fourth cylinder's idle jet may still be blocked; at idle it bangs a little into the exhaust, but the banging stops once you apply even a little throttle. Does not prevent riding — the jet may open by itself or with an additive.
