Defects and other observations

During the test drive we made the following observations:

  • Approximately every four days the engine warning light has come on with code P0252, which points to the injectors or the high‑pressure fuel pump. There is suspicion that the fuel system intermittently faults and the car begins to smoke. The fault clears after 5–10 minutes and the smoke stops completely. Sometimes it smokes twice a day and sometimes once every three days. Occasionally there is an oily smell/smoke from the engine bay. It leaks oil onto the ground from somewhere.

  • The air suspension drops while parked – apparently the right front air spring is leaking. Otherwise the V10 feels nice to drive and mechanically in good order.

  • The handbrake does not hold properly and there is slight vibration from the brakes when braking

The vehicle has been test driven and fluid levels checked before sale. No separate technical inspection has been carried out on the vehicle.
