ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to clump together; the resulting larger, heavier particles fall out of the breathing zone quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, which mix into indoor air as aerosols, create a serious health hazard if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause harm via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effectiveness compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times greater and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the deep lungs (alveoli) and then into the bloodstream, causing severe health problems in addition to asthma and allergy.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in an over-pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.
