Well‑kept, recently rebuilt 50 cc Derbi ready for the next owner!

Engine recently rebuilt with standard parts and the bike is otherwise very tidy for its age.

Electrics have been renewed; only the connectors need to be joined to lights, indicators etc.

Overall a striking, well‑kept Derbi — not a worn‑out hack.

Then the cons

Brakes need bleeding.

Battery needs fitting and the remaining electrics connecting — wiring has been installed and some connectors fitted.

Left front fairing needs repainting.

The moped runs as it should (at full throttle it stutters as if not getting enough fuel; jets and related parts are included).

All parts needed for repairs are available to buy — brake fluid and other consumables — except the left front fairing.

Top speed around ±55 km/h, so it keeps up well in city traffic.

Pluses

Working v‑face but the light is not yet connected to the wiring loom.

Good USD front fork.

Good linked rear suspension.

Fork with twin disc brakes.

Recently refurbished.

Good tyres fitted.

Frame spray‑painted red/black style (small chips but nothing conspicuous).

Swingarm powder‑coated.

Öhlins gas shock at the rear.

Fork does not leak or have other issues.

Could make a good first moped for late‑summer runs — I no longer need it due to holding a category B licence. I can deliver the moped for a small extra fee or prepare it for a small additional charge before sale.

Rear shock is a bit soft but has preload adjustment — tightening it markedly improves the setup.

Rear rim damaged.
