Tunturi Super Sport 1984 — IN THE SAME FAMILY SINCE NEW, Parkano

Let's try out of curiosity whether it's time for my beloved to go or not! My grandfather originally bought this Tunturi new in 1991 from a sports shop's back stock, where it had lain unsold as a very out‑of‑date model. The actual manufacture year is 1984, but it was first registered only in 1991. The moped passed to me as an inheritance in 1998.

Warranty distance is 4,239 kilometres and it still runs on the original Leijona tyres (rear tyre worn). Reflectors on the rims and front fork have never been fitted. The frame was repainted over 20 years ago, but the tank still has the original paint. There is slight corrosion on the rear rim and behind the chain guard. The moped is completely standard and barely runs at 40 km/h. There used to be an ignition switch in the toolbox, which has since been removed and the hole covered with a blanking plate. Keys are available for the steering lock. The Paioli front end functions like new and both dampers have had their oil changed once.
