LIVE CAGE TRAP 150 x 100 x 50 CM

Very sturdy Finnish trap assembled from mesh panels for catching raccoon dog, badger and fox. Made from powder-coated 4 mm steel mesh, main frame wire 8 mm thick. Includes a trigger mechanism. The trap is set by connecting the supplied cables to the trigger. The cable attached to the rear of the trigger is fixed to a tree, and the cable that runs through the trigger “hook” is secured to the front corner of the cage. The bait line is attached to the lowest hole of the trigger.

The trigger has a safety catch that makes setting easier. You can also use the safety catch during the acclimatisation phase so small predators can visit the trap without it activating.

The cage hinge is raised off the ground to prevent freezing.
