BMW E28 1982 – Classic with a complete engine overhaul, fresh 2‑year inspection

For sale: a fine BMW E28, model year 1982. Odometer: 232,000 km.

This car has been stored in a heated garage from 2002 to 2026. After long storage it has been refurbished back to road use and inspected. The car has a fresh 2‑year inspection, so the next owner can enjoy driving without immediate repair needs.

An extensive engine overhaul has just been carried out. Practically the whole engine has been gone through — only the pistons are original, but new piston rings have been fitted.


During the overhaul the following were renewed, among others:

  • Complete engine overhaul (pistons original, new piston rings)

  • Timing assembly

  • Clutch

  • Spark plug lead set (ignition leads)

  • Injectors

  • New wheels

  • New tyres

  • A second set of original wheels/tyres is included
