The timing belt and both rocker shaft axles had failed.

Both rocker shaft axles suffered some damage.

No other visible damage was observed.

However, a full overhaul of the cylinder head was carried out.

-- All inlet valves replaced

-- All exhaust valves replaced

-- All glow plugs replaced

-- Both rocker shaft axles replaced

-- Timing belt kit replaced

So the head now contains all new parts

The vehicle was broken into before it could be test-started

and the battery, relays, fuses, headlamp bulbs, front bumper parts etc. were stolen.

The car has not been started after the break-in — some relays and parts are certainly missing.

So the timing end and head have not been run after the overhaul.

The windscreen is intact.

The vehicle is on winter tyres with good tread, although some studs have come off.

All doors are in fairly good condition and locks work with remote control.

The hinges of the rear door have been replaced and the door works well.

The sliding door also works well.

The small driver-side window was broken during the break-in.

The vehicle also has a Webasto diesel heater that heats the engine and the interior.

The heater has not been used for some time, so its operation is not guaranteed.

This is a car with at least a good and working gearbox — it does not howl or squeal.

For a competent mechanic, the engine is complete and there are many useful spare parts.

Machining and parts for the head alone cost about a31,300.00.

The vehicle can be collected by breakdown truck or car trailer

We can also lend the buyer a towing bar which makes towing easy and safe

even on busy roads.
