This model is operated via the touchscreen rather than buttons. It has a large 6100 mAh battery that charges while connected to the vehicle's OBD port (a USB charging cable is included, so it can also be charged with a standard phone USB charger).

Most cars are recognised automatically when the reader is connected to the OBD port; the reader retrieves vehicle details using the VIN. If that fails or you prefer to enter details manually, this is also possible.
