Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations


-No warning lights during the test drive and it drove normally


-Exhaust leak

-MOT was failed already last year; reasons for failure:

-Weak handbrake braking force, lambda values (exhaust measurement), rust damage to the sill housing at the rear left and right, left front brake disc corroded, and left rear brake dragging. Also repair recommendations for an exhaust leak, cloudy headlights and a leaking shock absorber.


-Winter tyres fitted, summer tyres in the car


-Vehicle dirty inside


-Battery does not accept charge; the car would not stay running even with a jump start (it died when the cables were removed). With a booster it could be driven, and the car seemed to drive normally with no warning lights during the test drive. The battery likely needs replacing, but this may also indicate an alternator fault.





The car has not been given a technical inspection by us and not all equipment has been tested. There may be concealed faults that we did not detect on the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car in more detail before placing a binding bid. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
