Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we performed a test drive and a technical inspection, during which we made the following observations:

  • The car's most recent diagnostic report is shown in the sale photos.

  • Workshop diagnosis 26 June:
    - The engine oil warning light illuminated red and began to beep. An indistinct noise has started coming from the engine.
    - The engine runs roughly; the timing chain is making a very loud noise.
    - The engine is oily; a lot of oil has leaked from somewhere. The engine should be cleaned so the leak can be located.
    - Recommendation to replace both chains and the oil pump. If the oil light remains on after that, the cause must be investigated further.
    - There is a strong resonance/dull vibration noise from the engine/gearbox even in P position.
    - Suspected faulty dual-mass flywheel.

  • Driving the car is not recommended.

  • The car was not test-driven by us due to the above fault investigations.

  • The car was started on our premises and the chain was heard to make a loud noise.

  • Collection only by towing / flatbed for the above reasons.

  • The SERVICE light and the bulb warning light are on.

  • All the car's documents and service reports are shown in the sale photos.

It is possible to inspect the car before placing a bid.
