For sale as a repair project: a Seat traded in to us. The car has high mileage but could still be used as a car or for good spare parts. The car runs and drives and the MOT is valid until 22 October 2026. However, it leaks coolant quite noticeably and must be repaired before driving.


At some point 17" summer alloys were fitted with OK tyres. Winter tyres are studded on their own rims. The car has sportier seats and appears to be a sport model. On a short test drive the engine and gearbox seemed to work, although I noticed the coolant leak after the test drive.

  • The car leaks coolant from the engine on the driver’s side (see last photo)

  • Driving felt OK on the short test drive; no major faults noted while driving.

  • Rust, dents and scratches on the exterior

  • The car is a more powerful model, e.g. sports seats and a 179 hp engine.

  • We recommend collecting with a trailer; it may be possible to drive some distance if you bring plenty of coolant and ensure adequate cooling.


The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. There may be hidden faults that we did not detect during the test drive.
