Datsun-Nissan Cherry, 1985, Jyväskylä

A museum-registered Datsun-Nissan Cherry in very tidy condition for its age, coming from a trade-in and now up for auction!

I personally drove the car from Tampere to Jyväskylä and the trip went without issues! (it even reached speeds well over 200 km/h on the open road ;) )

The interior is practically flawless for its age. The exterior is also very tidy for its years; the plastic bumpers have started to fade and there are a few marks on the bonnet (see pictures).

In my view it drives well — the timing belt was replaced recently and should last a long time (done 11 July 2023 / 135,141 km) and the clutch was renewed (20 September 2020 / 126,181 km)! Gears change smoothly and the drive feels solid. The last oil change/service was done on 2 October 2025.

Museum-registered, so insurance is very inexpensive and there is no annual vehicle tax!
