Volkswagen New Beetle 2.0 (85 kW / 115 hp), 1999 – Moottori magazine long-term test car

A humorously built Moottori magazine long-term test car and a real head-turner – you will not need to search for this one in a car park. Recently inspected and in excellent driving condition. Please note that the pipes around the car, snorkel and auxiliary lights are only props.

Odometer reading 307,000 km, which is probably accurate, but the actual mileage cannot be verified. Imported from Germany in 2006. No service book.

The clutch and timing system were recently overhauled, and the exhaust system, brakes all round, springs and shock absorbers were replaced. Painted in 2025.

Signs of use are present. The passenger door handle is temperamental, the electric mirror adjustment does not work and the radio crackles. The glovebox lock is missing. Earlier repairs to the sills were carried out inadequately and require attention before the next inspection. Otherwise, the body is sound in all known respects.
