The device's principle of operation is simple: once the chosen felling direction is decided and the required felling notch has been cut, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed so that the threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless lamellae, forward, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guide generates the force to fell trees precisely in the desired direction easily and without straining the operator. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree to be felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
