This is a well-used but tidy Skoda Yeti with the sturdy 2.0 TDI engine. A well-maintained Finnish car! Timing kit and water pump were replaced at 413,000 km in November 2023. The clutch kit and flywheel were replaced at 380,000 km in 2022. The clutch feels firm and functional. The most recent service was carried out in May 2026 at 474,000 km, when engine oil and the oil pump were replaced.

The body shows signs of use and wear. The interior is in very neat condition. The windscreen has a crack. See the video for a closer look at the body condition.

The summer tyres on the car are good, with a 2024 stamp. The winter tyres are slightly more worn.


When the car was taken in part-exchange the engine malfunction light was on and the car was in a fault state. I read the fault codes with our tester and it returned one code P2458 (diesel particulate filter regeneration duration). This suggests the car has been used for short trips and the DPF has not been able to fully regenerate, or an associated sensor may be faulty. This has not been investigated further. The fault code was cleared and the car runs normally and briskly on a test drive. However the DPF warning light still illuminates. Otherwise the car feels technically sound and solid.

Next MOT is 30 March 2027, so you can expect worry-free miles for a long time.


The car has a fuel-fired Eber auxiliary heater. The heater was not tested due to low fuel. Other features include towbar, air conditioning and engine block heater.

  • The DPF light is on, indicating a related fault. (Not investigated). On the test drive the car runs well and briskly after the code was cleared. The engine malfunction light has been illuminated in relation to this.
