The car was driven all the way to the yard from Kalajoki! I certainly wouldn’t dare to go much further in this myself, unless you’re after some excitement. The previous owner said the oil light flashes when the engine warms up — no surprise, as after taking the photos I cleaned an oil puddle from the floor. I had a small moment of joy when I pressed the very worn button in front of the gear lever and a light came on; it felt as if the blower then produced cooler air — could this be air conditioning? Maybe — maybe not?? Oh, if this would still get an inspection sticker it would be nice to teach basic driving in traffic with it. You wouldn’t have to worry about every scratch or bump, it has been hit before, but why replace the bumper when the old one is still attached. I think the inspection will still require a fair amount of work! The clutch was functional, so you could practise stalling and crawling in the yard, for example. You should collect it quickly so you make it home before the inspection expires (7 July 2026).


There will probably still be someone interested in this — you could even make a funny YouTube video while you piece it together?? You never know, you might get a popular channel and earn back your purchase many times over — if you don’t have such a channel yet, try it — this is certainly a project full of surprises!
