During a short test drive we made the following observations:


-When you sit behind the wheel of a 2008 car with nearly 400,000 km, expectations are often modest. This Volvo, however, is an exception and pleasantly surprises on the road!

The car drives exceptionally well given its age and mileage. Key on-road observations:

  • Stable and firm chassis: The chassis is in excellent order and very stiff. The car does not rattle, creak or wander in grooves; it rides as steadily and safely as a large Volvo SUV should.

  • Mechanics work well: The D5 engine pulls nicely and provides enough power, and the automatic gearbox shifts smoothly and consistently. No issues with drivetrain or mechanics were found during the test drive.

  • Overall feel: Behind the wheel you can tell this was once a top-spec quality car. Mileage and age may show slightly on the driver’s seat, but they are not felt in the driving experience. The ride is quiet, comfortable and convincing.

Summary: This is not a worn-out wreck, but a technically sound and well-behaved car. It is still very comfortable for long journeys. Come and experience the excellent driving feel yourself!
