Smart, ready-to-drive car up for auction, which arrived to us straight from regular daily use. This 7‑seater presents well, the mechanics are functioning normally and the vehicle inspection (MOT) is valid for just under four months, so it's ready to hit the road.


Although the official service book has been misplaced over the years and not all receipts are available, a long list of major repairs has nonetheless been carried out. The previous owner has very recently fitted a new turbo and water pump, and a little over a year ago the timing belt was also replaced. In addition, a few years ago we had the gearbox, clutch and Webasto repaired.

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • No problems, drives OK

  • Engine note clean, no major extra noises

  • Windscreen washer fluid empty

  • Some studs missing from the winter tyres

We have not performed a technical inspection and have not tested the operation of all equipment. The car may have hidden faults that were not detected during the test drive and inspection.
